We have been developing the technical details of the service in conjunction with Catalyst IT Limited who are currently offering hosting for several sites:

• The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand Research Repository
• WelTec Research Repository
• New Zealand State Services Commission Pilot Object Registry

Catalyst are an experienced open source development and hosting business for the Moodle learning object management system and many other open source applications.

Catalyst has offices in Wellington and Sydney.

Catalyst Hosted Services Options

Catalyst can provide a Fez/Fedora hosted service however the client requires, being flexible in where and how the instance is hosted (Catalyst can take care of this, or support an internally-hosted instance). Support contracts can be drawn up according to client requirements that include

• Physical server managment
• Server monitoring
• Data backup
• Custom enhancements

Catalyst is also just as happy working with clients on a consulting and training basis to perform any of the "heavy lifting" needed to get a repository up and running with a gradual handover to the internal staff.
