UQ will be migrating our ADT theses into Fez using the tools we created on the eScholarship page

• Firstly the ADT OAI service provider will be configured to attach to our ADT website
• Second the OAI to METS converter will attach to the ADT OAI provider and create a directory full of METS xml files for each ADT record
• Lastly Fez will batch import the directory of METS files into a Fez ADT collection

The central ADT harvester will be pointed towards the full collection listing web page of ADT theses now in Fez. The ADT harvester scrapes the Metadata HTML headers in each link in the listing page as its harvesting process. Fez 1.3 has HTML metadata headers to support this type of harvesting (which is also how the Picture Australia harvester works).
